VIDEO GUIDE TO WRITTEN ADVOCACY
I have created a one hour video guide, with 16 short whiteboard animation videos, outlining my best tips for written advocacy, including what mindset to cultivate, why point first writing matters, and how to boost your writing.
The video series has been approved for one hour of CPD by the Law Society of British Columbia, and one hour of Professionalism Content by the Law Society of Ontario. For Alberta lawyers, consider including this activity as a CPD learning activity in your annual CPD Plan.
INDIVIDUAL COACHING EXTENSION
I offer a CPD extension to the video series, in which you provide me, in advance, a piece of writing to review, and then we discuss its strengths and weaknesses in a one hour individual coaching session.
This is perfect if you are struggling with a difficult argument and you don’t have colleagues with the skills to assist. Not only will you learn persuasive writing skills that can be applied on an ongoing basis, but you will also leave the session with a refined piece of writing you can use.
