You can save your client a lot of wasted money by determining the chance of success on appeal at an early stage.If you were counsel at trial, you may not be able to see clearly which issues must be put to rest and which issues may lead to success on appeal. I am very familiar with the standards of review and how they are applied, and I can help you sort the wheat from the chaff.
SECOND OPINION
Retain me to provide an opinion to your client on the chances of success on appeal. I only work with other lawyers, and therefore have no ulterior agenda when it comes to your client. It may be easier for an outside lawyer, who did not go through the trial with the client, to convince the client to let go of of unhelpful arguments to focus on the true appealable issues.
